Day 1-3 MARRAKECH
We start our adventure in fabled Marrakech, the “Red City” named for its’ rose stone walls, founded in 1062 and sitting at the edge of the Atlas foothills.
We’ll stay in Les Yeux Bleus, a gorgeous riad located in the heart of Marrakech: featuring unique and stunningly designed rooms, two charming patios; two pools, a library, a hammam, and a magnificent roof terrace with a bar. It’s the perfect base of operations, where we’ll not only relax in luxury, but venture out to explore this historic ancient city.
From the lively souk (market) to the kaleidoscopic Djemaa el-Fna (the massive public square filled with snake-charmers, performers, medicine men and musicians) we’ll get a true insider’s taste of this dazzling place.
Day 4 & 5 TAROUDANNT
After Marrakech, we journey deeper into the heart of Morocco, to Taroudannt, a city in the Sous Valley famous for its local crafts, jewelry and carpets. Unlike most other cities in the country it is completely enveloped between the ancient walls and appears more like a small fortified town. Nestled in the shadow of the breathtaking high Atlas we’ll explore this ancient trading hub from the luxury of our Riad: Dar Zitoune, “a magical place where time seems to stand still”.
Dar Zitoune has 14 bungalows and 8 suites, a new boutique accommodation with 8 luxury caidal tents (equipped with bathrooms, private terraces, air conditioning, TV, satellite, salons, Wi-Fi). A pleasant garden of two hectares, a large swimming pool, heated Jacuzzi, spa (massage Hammam–sauna), a gym and a gourmet restaurant of Moroccan and Western specialties, welcomes us in the pure tradition of Moroccan hospitality.
Days 6-8 ESSAOUIRA

Situated on the ramparts of Essaouira’s medina, Dar l’Oussia will be our home during our stay. Beautifully situated to let us freely roam the town and give great access to all the activities of the festival.
The Gnaoua World Music Festival is an extraordinary event, where music and dialogue between international artists and mystical Gnaoua musicians, fill the ramparts and streets. The entire city is transformed into a living stage of worship through rhythm, music and dance. The gulf between performance and audience dissolve under the impulse of the mystic ancestral traditions of the Gnaoua. Tell me more!

Day 9 & 10 CASA
We close the trip in Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco and one of the largest and most important cities in Africa. We’ll stay in Le Doge, located in the heart of the city of Casablanca, a lavish mansion built by an Italian entrepreneur in the 1930s and lovingly restored and converted into a truly stunning accommodation.
What can possibly be more iconic of the amazing role that the city of Casablanca played in both history and imagination than the iconic “Rick’s Cafe Americain” from the movie Casablanca?
Our visit to this fabled imperial city will culminate with dinner at Rick’s Cafe, complete with piano player and all the ambience evoked by the film. The only thing missing will be Bogie himself.
