After breakfast at The Park Plaza County Hall, we walk across Westminster Bridge to the House of Lords & House of Commons, as we get a private tour and visit the adjacent Westminster Abbey.
Lunch at the Morpeth Arms Restaurant is a treat, especially in their upstairs dining room. Overlooking the Thames and infamous MI6, which contrary to the Skyfall movie was not blown up (!) the Spying Room is themed around the 1920s secret agent and exotic dancer Mata Hari. The Morpeth Arms is a traditional Victorian London pub built in 1845 on the site of the original prison cells of Millbank penitentiary. Situated along historic Millbank in Westminster it’s supposedly haunted, so watch your bangers & mash!
A short walk over to famous the London Eye, where we board a private Champagne Capsule for some incredible sightseeing from way above. Afterwards, explore the River Thames and the Embankment area on your own.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Glass of Champagne & H’ors douvres
