We’ll enjoy the UNESCO heritage site of Old Havana this morning, as we walk the cobblestone streets and bask in nearly 500 years of history and culture. The flea market gives us insight into the locals, and maybe you will see some of the horse-drawn carriages that are a throwback to an earlier century. After a truly local lunch in old Havana, we will stop in to see the famous Bar Dos Hermanos, which vies with La Floridita as the oldest bar in Havana and was another one of Hemingway’s haunts. This evening, after another delicious meal, visit Morro Castle to see the “Ceremonia del Canonazo” (Ceremony of the Cannon), an important cultural experience and another glimpse of ancient Cuban history.
