PRICING

5 Nights/6 Days in-country (Thula Thula only) $4,981 double-occupancy, add $485 for a single

8 Nights/9 Days in-country (Thula Thula & Durban) $5,986 double-occupancy, add $720 for a single

The tour is based on a minimum of just 10 persons.  A payment plan is available. Deposit is $500 to hold your space – just call us at 877-406-5206 to reserve your spot; all payments are due in full at least 60 days prior to travel.

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES:

– Spectacular wildlife viewing from an open Land Rover on your morning and afternoon Game Drives and/or Bush Walks. Our game rangers are dedicated to your safety and education about the local flora and fauna.

– When in residence, Francoise Anthony, Lawrence Anthony’s widow, will host a dinner and regale you with amazing true animal stories of the African bush and tales of her husband’s legendary feats.

– Breakfast daily in Durban, and three gourmet meals per day at Thula Thula, prepared by Cordon-Bleu chef Francoise Anthony, with candlelit dinners on the veranda under the stars.

– Afternoon snacks, coffee and tea in the extraordinary setting of the Thula Thula Game Lodge.

– Brief educational seminars are provided in the late mornings to introduce visitors to environmental and conservation activities being carried out around the world by The Earth Organization. These briefings are held by environmental experts from various fields and include current, accurate information regarding environmental issues and their solutions on topics ranging from endangered species, both locally and worldwide, to energy and resource conservation. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All travelers need a passport valid for at least twelve months after the date of entering the country.  Holders of American Passports are not required to obtain visas to visit South Africa.

DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE IN THE CASE OF CANCELLATION, EXCEPT AS NOTED: AT LEAST 120 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE, DEPOSITS ARE FULLY REFUNDABLE, LESS $500 INITIAL DEPOSIT, AT LEAST 61 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE RECEIVE A 50% REFUND.  ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE WITHIN 60 DAYS OF TRAVEL, AFTER WHICH NO REFUNDS SHALL BE ISSUED – WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL TRAVELERS TO BUY TRIP INSURANCE TO GUARD AGAINST THE POSSIBILITY OF CANCELLATION. If you need to cancel your safari and notify us within 30 days prior to the start of the scheduled trip, you may transfer your funds to a future scheduled safari without penalty.  However, if the standard price of the future safari is higher, you must pay the additional portion for the increased package rate.

BAGGAGE
Between North America and South Aftica, each passenger is allowed two pieces of checked baggage.  Please check with your own airline for the specific size restrictions.

RESPONSIBILITY
The Earth Organization, its employees, officers and directors (collectively “The Earth Organization”) does not own or operate any entity which is to provide, or does provide goods or services for your trip; including, for example, lodging facilities, transportation companies, local ground or safari operators including, without limitation various entities which may utilize The Earth Organization’s name, guides, entertainment food or drink service providers, equipment suppliers, etc.  As a result, The Earth Organization is not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity.  In addition, The Earth Organization and Spirit Quest Tours, who handle your booking, are not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any person or entity it does not own or control, nor for any act or inaction of any other third party not under its control.

Without limitation, The Earth Organization and Spirit Quest Tours are not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, injury, death, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity of any kind which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including, without limitation to any willful or negligent act, failure to act, breach of contract or violation of local law or regulation of any third party such as an airline, hotel, bus, taxi, van, or safari operator, local ground handler or guide, whether or not it uses The Earth Organization name, financial default or insolvency of any suppliers and/or restaurant which is to, or does supply any goods or services for this trip.  Similarly, The Earth Organization and Spirit Quest Tours are not responsible for any loss, injury, death or inconvenience due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodation, default of any third party, attacks by animals, injury or death while on activities sponsored by lodging facilities or by other third parties, sickness, the lack of appropriate medical care, evacuation to same, if necessary, weather, strikes, acts of God or government, acts of terrorism or the threat thereof, force majeure, war, quarantine, epidemics, or the threat thereof, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond its control.

The right is reserved to alter or cancel the itinerary, at The Earth Organization’s sole discretion, as it may deem necessary or advisable.

The Earth Organization reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any attendee on any of its Eco Safaris if, in its sole discretion, it deems accepting or retaining any such attendee as being detrimental to the tour.  In the event any attendee is removed from a trip, The Earth Organization’s only obligation is to refund to that person the portion of the payment allocatable to unused services.

Written notice of any claim against The Earth Organization or Spirit Quest Tours must be received no later than fourteen (14) days after the date that services were provided to a tour participant.

Although every effort will be made to deliver the trip exactly as in the itinerary, all terms and conditions, including fares, schedules, locations and rates are subject to change without notice.
